    These notes have been prepared to serve as a basis for the Relativity course that is part of the compulsory subjects in the career of Physics of the Faculty of Sciences of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. We have written and refined the authors as we have taught the course, trying to discuss in the most intuitive way the generation of the concepts required to get to postulate the interaction between the subject and the space.

    Project: Understanding Gravitational Waves from Inspiral Binary Systems and its Detection Description: This code can be freely download and used to perform detection of GW from inspiral binary systems. The code is focused to detect GW waveform that are embedded in the freely available LIGO data recorded during the fifth science run (S5).

    Steps: To perform detection, you only need to follow these simple instructions:
    1) Download the file here
    2) Open the script "mainscript.m"
    3) Select an interferometer, line 7
    4) Select a data block file, line 10
    5) Excute the scrip
